Matthew Shores - Lead Pastor

Pastor Matthew Shores has served at Woodside Community Church since May of 2013. He is originally from North Carolina where he majored in Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina and earned his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Previously, Matthew was working as an associate pastor of North Shore Baptist Church in Bayside, Queens.

Matthew and his wife Melissa have four daughters, Emma, Lila, Nora and Tesa. Matthew loves reading and studying the Bible, theology, and history. In his free time, Matthew loves to play and watch anything sports related, especially UNC basketball, but his absolute favorite activity is playing with his daughters.

Mike Moultrie - Associate Pastor

Pastor Michael Moultrie serves as Associate Pastor at Woodside Community Church. He studied at Liberty University and is certified as a biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Pastor Mike formerly served as Pastor of Cross Community Baptist Church, a church plant in Queens Village, N.Y. and also served as an Elder at North Shore Baptist Church in Bayside, Queens. He previously served as a Radar Operator and Technician in the U. S. Armed Forces. He has a beautiful wife of 25 years named Sharon and three grown children, Audley, Jamel and Tamara, who love and serve the Lord.

Worship Leader - Andy Park

Andy has been the music director and worship team leader at Woodside Community Church since February 2016.  He is a graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary where he studied biblical counseling.  In his spare time, he enjoys reading and playing guitar, reading theological books and snacking on chips and donuts.  Andy met his wife, Jenn, at Woodside Community Church.  She is currently pursuing a degree in counseling at NYU.
